- After arrival in Nanaimo, proceed off the ferry and turn right onto Brechin Rd (the first major traffic light you encounter)
- Stay on Brechin Rd, driving through the next traffic light then take 2nd right onto Island Hwy/BC-19A N (signs for British Columbia 19 Alternate N/Parksville )
- Turn left onto Northfield Rd and drive as far as you can on Northfield Rd.
- Turn right onto Nanaimo Pkwy/BC-19 N (Follow signs for Campbell River)
- Continue to follow BC-19 N for approximately 38km
- Take exit 60 toward Port Alberni
- Merge onto Memorial Ave/Pacific Rim Hwy/BC-4 W
- Continue to follow Pacific Rim Hwy/BC-4 W for 38.0 km
- Turn right onto Pacific Rim Hwy/River Rd/Victoria Quay/BC-4 W (signs for Ucluelet/Tofino)
- Continue to follow Pacific Rim Hwy/BC-4 W for 90.5 km
- Turn left onto Tofino Ucluelet Hwy 3.3 km
- The highway then turns into Peninsula Rd
- In 6.7 km, Arbutus Guest Suite will be located on the corner of Peninsula Rd. and Kimoto Dr

- Get onto Douglas St/Trans-Canada Hwy/BC-1 N and follow signs to Nanaimo for 104 kms
- Merge onto Nanaimo Pkwy/BC-19 N via the ramp to Parksville/Campbell River and continue to follow BC-19 N for approximately 50 kms
- Take exit 60 toward Port Alberni
- Merge onto Memorial Ave/Pacific Rim Hwy/BC-4 W
- Continue to follow Pacific Rim Hwy/BC-4 W for 38.0 km
